Once arriving to the airport, you will have the chance to meet the other travelers and take the afternoon to relax and reset. This evening, we’re having our luxury welcome dinner at Gold – known for their live traditional entertainment and African culinary testing experience with flavors from all over the continent.

Have you heard of Chapmans Peak Drive? It was named one of the most beautiful drives on earth and today we’ll be taking you all on this beautiful drive to explore Cape Town’s peninsula! A few of our stops along the way include Maidens Cove, an Ostrich Farm stop, Cape of Good Hope light house (The most south west point in Africa) and our personal favorite – Boulders Beach! A warm, crystal clear beach full of African penguins that you’ll get to swim and interact with during our picnic on the beach.

Where else in the world can you get to say you swam with penguins?

Today’s probably the day you’ve been counting down to – our luxury safari experience.

We’re leaving the city behind and heading deep into the wild for a full-day safari just outside Cape Town. South Africa is home to the iconic Big Five – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and African buffalo – and you’ll have the chance to see them all in one unforgettable day.

This is what we mean by bucket list energy: spotting lion hunting down their prey, driving under towering giraffe, tracking a rhino through the bush as herds of elephants lead the way – all while learning about the rich history of Africa’s animal kingdom from our expert guides.

This is not just a thrilling experience, it’s rare. Some of the Big Five are on the brink, like the black rhino and African leopard. Because of these animal’s rate of extinction, seeing them in the wild is a privilege only few get to witness, and a moment in time you might never get back!

This day won’t just be one for the books, but it will a reminder or just how wild and untamed the world really is behind the scenes.

We’re so used to island hopping on our trips… but what about vineyard hopping?

It’s only right that we explore the best of Cape Town’s wine country—after all, South Africa is home to some of the most iconic winelands in the world, including the legendary Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Today, we’re switching gears and turning off adventure mode and stepping right into our soft life-luxe energy. We’ll be hopping aboard the open-air wine tram, where you’ll glide through rolling vineyards, stopping at award-winning estates along the way. Think curated wine tastings paired with fresh oysters, decadent chocolates, artisanal cheeses, and stunning scenery in every direction.

You’ll have time to sip, shop, and stock up on bottles of incredible local wine and champagne to bring back home.

This is your moment to dress up in your favorite flowy linens, breezy sets, and sundresses because of course, as always, we’ll have a photographer on-site to capture you against you with the lush green fields and epic mountain backdrops.

What better way to see the city than from above? In true casual TWT fashion, we’re starting the morning off strong with a helicopter ride over Cape Town’s iconic coastline! The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Feel free book external experiences such as the famous Robben Island tour (where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years), visit one of the many historical museums to dive deep into the apartheid, relax at reset at Cabo Beach Club, sunbathe at Camps Bay, or kayak through Cliffton beach.

Whatever you choose, now you have some fun friends to run around the city with! For the evening, we made table reservations at one of our favorite clubs for anyone who wants to party! (Drinks at guests own accord)

Kloof Corner Sunset Hike – Join your host for an easy sunset hike to one of Cape Town’s most ethereal viewpoints. It’s the perfect golden hour moment to end the day on a high note.

It’s our final full day in Cape Town, and we’re closing it out in the best way possible.

This afternoon, we’ll take the cable car up Table Mountain for sweeping views over the city, ocean, and surrounding landscapes. It’s one of the most popular mountains in South Africa, and now you get to experience it from the top.

Later, we’ll head to the V&A Waterfront for a 2-hour sunset sail along the coast. You’ll have the chance to see sea lions, and if the timing’s right, even a few whales making their way through the water!
