Upon arrival, a private driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to the #1 luxury hotel in Stone Town. We’ll be here for 2 nights, & move on to a luxury all inclusive resort on the coast for the next 4 nights!

In the evening, expect a fun meet & greet and a beautiful luxurious candle-lit dinner with views. 

After dinner, we’ll be going to a local bar along the beachfront to dance and have a final nightcap before we jump into a full week of adventuring.

Today we dive into the heart of Zanzibar’s culture with a guided exploration of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich history and vibrant energy. Wander through buzzing street markets and unique architecture, visit the oldest slave market in East Africa, and shop for beautifully handcrafted souvenirs made by local artisans.

For lunch, we’ll step into the home of a local culinary expert for a farm-to-table organic culinary experience featuring traditional Swahili and Zanzibari dishes. (Past guests have called this their favorite meal of the trip)

As the sun sets, we’ll make our way to Forodhani Night Market for a big surprise!

Today is all about soaking up the natural beauty and vibrant energy of Zanzibar’s turquoise coastline. We’ll kick things off aboard a luxury Dhow boat, sailing to the historic Prison Island, home to centuries-old stories, giant Aldabra tortoises, and striking peacocks. You’ll get the chance to feed the tortoises—some over 100 years old—and learn about the island’s layered past.

Next, we’ll set sail to Nakupenda Sandbank, a dreamy stretch of white sand surrounded by crystal-clear water. Swim, sunbathe, treat yourself to a beachside massage, and enjoy a fresh seafood BBQ picnic right on the sand. (Vegan/veg options available, of course!)

After sailing back to Stone Town, we’ll switch up the scene and check into an all-inclusive resort set on one of Zanzibar’s most stunning beaches—get ready for a luxe reset.

Today we set sail for one of the most breathtaking days on the itinerary. We’re heading to Mnemba Island, known for its unbelievably clear waters—this is where Zanzibar really earns its nickname as the “Maldives of Africa.”

Along the way, we’ll stop to snorkel coral reefs, have a chance to swim with dolphins, and relax on a secret sandbank that’s completely off the tourist radar—just you and the TWT fam in total paradise.

On board, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch prepared by our private chef and curated vibes from our resident DJ spinning Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip Hop & R&B.

We’ll end the day catching sunset on the sail back home!

This morning, you have the option to visit one of Zanzibar’s most beautiful turtle conservation lagoons, where rescued sea turtles are cared for and released back into the wild. Swim alongside them, feed them, and experience this peaceful, hands-on moment with nature.

Later, we’ll wrap up our final full day with a luxurious beachfront farewell dinner—picture golden hour views, waves crashing, candlelight, and a Swahili-inspired feast featuring lobster, steak, and coastal flavors, plus unlimited wine to toast the trip.
